Malick Bodian

Born and raised in Sénégal, Malick Bodian arrived in Europe as a young teenager. Spotted by a model agent in Corsica at 19, he started a career as a model and was photographed by the most renowned fashion stylists and photographers of the day including brands like Dior, Hugo Boss and Ferragamo. Eventually he developed a curiosity towards photography as a medium itself.
Malick began to experiment photography in different forms: photographing himself, documenting places and shooting portraits of his friends.
His work has since been sought out by fashion Magazines all over the world, regularly contributing editorials, self portraits and documentary work. Inspirations include Jean Paul Goude, and instead of creating a recognizable aesthetic, the former model feels it's important to always try different things.
