Arnold Veber
Entropy 9
908,00€ – 2.118,00€
Veber’s work always sits at a halfway point. Between the sea and land, chaos and calm; between yesterday’s party and tomorrow’s hangover, between the noise of the crowd and the silence of loneliness. Veber portrays the unique tempo of youth as if it were an elastic band, stretching as far as possible before contracting inwards and then repeating. In this series the artist reflects the lives of young people in Moscow from an insider’s perspective.

Since 2010, Veber has been documenting the lives of young people in Moscow from an insider's perspective. Without being noticed, he watches the idle and blackout of young clubgoers, raves, participants of aimless night outings. Through this prism, he talks about the social, political and spiritual life of society in his artistic projects.
After finishing his curriculum at the Moscow Rodchenko Art School he started working on this documentary work on Muscovite youth which was shown at the Triumph Gallery in Moscow, and at the 2016 Biennale of Photography of Moscow.
