Bego Antón is interested in exploring the universe that exists at the boundaries of fantasy and reality. Herwork dissects human behaviour and reflects on our psychological and moral relationship with thenatural world. She often calls herself a treasure-seeker, exploring the most remote corners of the planet and sharing them with the public through her photography.

Lady winter. In this series the artist reflects on live "in Olafsfjordur, a small and remote village in the north of Iceland, where I lived for two months. There I expected to depict human behaviour in adverse atmospheric conditions and investigate the consequences this can have in its bond with nature and landscape”
Her work has been published in the Lens Blog of the New York Times, National Geographic, Esquire, Le Monde, CNN Photos, and The British Journal of Photography, among many others. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally at FotoWeek DC, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Canal Isabel II and in New York, Switzerland, Germany and Iceland.
She was chosen to participate in the Joop Swart Masterclass of the World Press Photo in 2014 and received the revelation prize for PHotoEspaña in 2017. She studied journalism and specialised in documentary photography in Barcelona.
